I graduated from the University of Oxford with an Meng in Engineering Science. For my master’s project I developed a poroelastic tissue model to study blood flow in the brain, which sparked my interest in using computational modelling to study complex biological problems. I later expanded on this work during a research internship at the University of Manchester, investigating how changes to the brain microvasculature affect cerebral perfusion.
My research interests lie in intersection of advanced imaging, computational modelling, and clinical applications. My current research uses high-resolution X-ray imaging to explore how joint biomechanics change in health and disease, working to scale up findings of small animal models to humans. I hope to gain deeper understanding into the effects of disease progression on joint biomechanics and use this knowledge to better predict and relieve joint pain in patients.
